It’s that time of the week again (or time of the month, these things happen every week but I usually keep it to a monthly thing), time to bring up the Cars and Coffee photos. I suffered through sweltering 95+ degree weather in a black Corvette shirt, wiping sweat from my brow every five seconds to bring you the best of what we can get on a holiday weekend (which isn’t much, but some if it is still pretty nice). Here are the highlights.
I gave up on C&C after a while and cruised over to the local Krispy Kreme, where I found another show.

A Pantera and a Bricklin. I picked a bad day to stay in. Either way I had to clean up because the 4th festivities are at my place.

Highway 31 was a nightmare, so maybe there’s something you can be thankful for you not going out.

459 and 65 were terrible yesterday evening. Everyone going out of town.

I completely forgot about the show in front of the Krispy Kreme! And I actually enjoy the Bham C&C when it’s a holiday, the day after Christmas last year was a really good show.
Though I do miss the old location.

But it pays off, because nobody is in town.

Oh yea. There was no wait anywhere for dinner.

Well almost anywhere...
I was down by the Galleria and I stopped by the Jim n’ Nicks near there, but I couldn’t even get in the door because it was so packed. Instead I went to the one in Southside. I was in and out in 5 minutes.

There is always a wait at that one and it always gets a bad health rating.

Yeah I can tell, that was the first time I went to that one, I didn’t like it. However the other one is always nice.

There’s a couple that are always good.

Same, it was such a unique location and we didn’t have to deal with HTF customers cruising through and taking up the spots. Also the show was much more condensed and looked like an actual function, rather than all over the lot.
I’ll have to check out all the holiday shows this year for sure.

And when people drove up the deck they would rev their engines and it would be so beautiful, plus we got more Porsches and oddball stuff, I remember seeing a blue S4 Wagon with a manual at the old location.
